wished for a boy.....

I’ve hung a holly on our door
And put a Christmas tree in our home
For everyone to know
That Christmas is fast approaching

I’ve also written notes to Santa Claus
And prayed to the Lord above
To help a friend of mine
Who is to perform an arduous task

There’s only one thing left to do
Before Christmas time arrives
To send a wish from IV-St. Matthew
To the one who touched my life

Hope you have realized
The best gift you can give to your parents
To be responsible enough
As a student and son
