JEFFREY
Every now and then I dream
Sometime, somehow you’ll be mine
But every time I dream, I feel it will be a never-ending dream
And it will be just but a dream
Your smile makes me empty
Your touch makes me pretend
Your words make me weak
I don’t know if I am still myself
I am just merely existing
I face life but does not live it
There’s laughter, there’s joy
But the end is always pain and grief
They say I’m a liar, suppressing and denying my feelings
They are right, you’re in me
But I know nothing will happen
Better to keep the real thing a dream
Thanks for the sorry, it’s already a big thing for me
It’s all that I can also say
But it doesn’t mean I’m mad
I just want to be civilized
